FRANCES + GEORGE
Today we have some beautiful snippets of our bride Frances to share! Frances and George were married surrounded by friends and family at St Andrews Anglican Church in Maheno, near Oamaru on a beautiful sunny day. They even spotted dolphins at Fleur's Place in Moeraki! Frances grew up in Wellington, and had often walked past the Sophie Voon Bridal store, dreaming of the day she would wear one of our beautiful dresses herself. Even though Frances was Dunedin based, she rekindled her Wellington roots and came back to us to create her dream dress.
"We were living in Dunedin at the time of the wedding and the lead-up to it, but the staff at Voon made it so easy for me to pop in for fittings when I was in Wellington on weekends. I wanted the whole experience to be special and unique and exciting as well as relaxed as possible and Sophie Voon staff really made everything so special, from being so welcoming and fun and helpful, it was the perfect experience for me and my Mum. Frances wore a gorgeous flowing soft tulle dress, with floral lace detailing on the bodice. The back of her dress featured a scalloped V-back, with vintage buttons completing the look. Congratulations Frances and George!
