Cynthia always knew that she would be buying her wedding dress from Sophie Voon bridal, so, when we closed our Willis street shop, she came to put in her order before she even had a wedding date.

Cynthia loves the art Deco era and wanted a dress that reflected that. She found what she was after in the Charlotte dress with a lace bodice and a matching separate bolero that she could take on and off. She had a beautiful wedding at The Wellesley with Wellington icon Simon Wolf doing photography.

On the Monday after the wedding, her new Husband Greg rang to tell me how amazing Cynthia looked and how much he liked her wedding dress. I think that’s the first time that a groom has actually taken time to ring and thank me personally!
